Okay, this really pissed me off

It was also the catalyst for a few extra videos in the EBC builder.

Here's the deal

I love Stripe. I love Zapier. But Zapier and Stripe need to get their shit together so that I can create triggers based on the purchase of specific products.

As it currently stands, you aren't able to filter for specific Stripe products in Zapier, so that means I needed to put together these funky little workarounds that filter based on price.

Wait what are you getting on about now?

So my course has a number of different checkout options.

You can buy the premium version which gets you all the emails and tools PLUS two hours with me to go over stuff 1:1.
You can purchase the Standard course (no 1:1 time)
You can trial the first chapter and then purchase either Premium OR Standard (which gets you 1:1 time or no, depending on the route you go).
And then (and you'll get this upsell in a few emails), you can also purchase 1:1 time as an add-on to the standard course.

So lots going on there. But ultimately, unless I want the same zap firing every time someone makes a purchase (because Stripe can't filter for specific products), I needed to find a workaround.

My Workaround

Is in video format in the EBC builder :) jk I'll just tell you here (but really, there is also a video).

I just created filters based on price. Since the premium is one price and the standard course is another, I tell Zapier apply certain tags based on an exact match to the prices of my products in Stripe.
