Boilerplate comment about these fast forward links
I use the 70 seconds between emails to provide some entertainment value. The previous three emails have all included aspects of the backstory of how we got to now (part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5). Once the story ends, well, I'll tell some other story. The more you fast forward, the more little gems you'll find hidden along the way.

Andrew introduced me to the On Deck community — it was in this environment that I presented to 30 complete strangers, everything I had learned about EBCs. The response from the community was pretty electric. People starting to jam on EBCs left and right...
Which of course got me thinking...
There might be a course in here. I'm not one to get super meta, but given everything I'd learned in building Big Later, it seemed like a worthy effort to codify this stuff into a playbook so that other people wouldn't have to make the same mistakes I made along the way.
So now we're here
